README file for Mitrol client access through MitrolV12 to Mitrol product files on
     the Teamco FTP server
     
This is the directory containing Mitrol product files and electronic manuals available
     to the licenced Mitrol customer. A licence registration string is required before 
     product will run in update mode. Databases will be in "readonly" mode until a valid 
     registration string (supplied by Teamco) is entered.
     
The Mitrol electronic manuals in PDF format with the free Acrobat V3 viewer are located
     in the MANUALS directory

Prior software for the Mitrol System has been
     V909D     MVS and VM versions                        Uses PLI v1r4
     V10D MVS and VM versions                             Uses PLI v1r5
     V11B MVS version for USA, and all VM clients         Uses PLI v1r5
     V115 MVS version for Europe                          Uses PLI v1r5, can use V2 run-time support
None of this software is Y2K compliant, it will most definitely fail 1st Jan. 2000
     
The current software for the Mitrol System is
     V1R1 Y2K version of Mitrol V11B
     
     
V115XA (v1r2) and V12 (v1r3) have some open issues 
     V1r2 has some minor issues with the macro language
     V1r3 has some open issues associated with after image logging together with 
     separate-tasking and contention, which might affect you if you use ST extensively
     
For those customers who seek a Y2K version and do not need any or all the new V12 functionality, 
     and wish to support existing applications, then revised versions of the previous Mitrol
     software is available for evaluation subject to revised contractual arrangements.
     
All MVS software is provided as TRANSMIT (or XMIT) exported PDS libraries, use the TSO 
     "RECEIVE" command to import/rebuild the dataset

TRANSMIT exported datasets should be uploaded to mainframe as PS/FB/80/3120
Ensure that your transport program is set to BINARY or IMAGE, and not ASCII

All VM software is provided as packed executable modules, which should be uploaded to the
     mainframe as 1024 byte datasets, and unpacked using COPYFILE x x x y y y (UNPACK OLDD
